TM cars concept 30

I did a quick search but didn't turn anything up so apologies if it's a repost.

We all love the E30 3 series, I've often wondered what a retro styled new shape car would look like (a similar idea to the new American muscle cars) as the current 3 series isn't a pretty thing IMO.

Well, apparently it would look like this:


But this isn't a modern interpretation of the E30, it IS an E30 with a redesigned body.

This was revealed around September 2012 and I really like it, especially the front and rear lights. What are your thoughts? Would you be brave enough to build one?

The real question is though, is it better than the original?

D...errm...ooh...errr...I actually quite like that. I like it a lot! But I dont really understand why, because I love e30's for the boxy retro look and they honestly are the sort of cars that should usually be left alone. It sort of looks more purposeful and that duck tail is an interesting touch (a bit hit and miss for some but hey).

I like it apart from the grille and lights which look god awful, IMO..doesn't even look like a BMW.

It's not to my taste, I can't help seeing it as a really chavved up E30. It's hard to define, but to me it has lost what made the E30 look good.

Looking at all the pictures, yeah the front bumper,grille and front/back lights are naff the rest looks okay.
