I'm looking for gift ideas for the old man. I was going to get him a subscription to Pilot, but turns out he's already got one.

So, is there a magazine that caters more for classic aircraft? Thinking WW2 era and similar.

The Aeroplane and Flypast are good ones.

Occasionally for me. I'd struggle to choose between the two; a subscription to either would be very welcome.

Of the two, I prefer Aeroplane Monthly - but there are good articles in both.
