To be fair, the mods had been taking some flack about the lack of moderation in some threads recently. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. With the increasing problems associated with 'trolling' crossing in to outright libel / slander, I guess they are just having to be safe.

If anything some of the stuff posted WOULD have got you site bans a few years back, thanks to the techies we now have some extra mods tools at our disposal that allow us to use some leniency.
