I have 2 key fobs but only one still works.
Abacus alarms can do just replacement fobs, if you have the original code card, which has on it either an 8 digit or 16 digit number..Without this card, or the code at least, new key fobs cannot be coded.

My alarm works fine, i just need 2 new fobs, before my only operative one decides to call it a day!
There are other alternatives to just renewing the fobs, but this involves a lot more cost.

Now i do not have the Meta code card, but i have noticed, in the owners record details, contained in my Original TVR handbook, a sub heading of "Remote key fob no." after which is a 16 digit code.

woohoo

Someone please tell me today is my lucky day, and this is the exact code that i need to purchase 2 new reprogrammed fobs.

Or is it wishful thinking. I will contact Abacus just thought i would post it up first.

Edit for confession, one glass of wine too many!

Keyboard slip in the title , loving my spelling of alarm!

I think it is your lucky day. I think you can read the code sent from the pressel with the right equipment if your stuck. Contact Carl Baker at Car and Bike Installations (be quick he is moving to France) or Raceproved in Sheffield. If you can get your alarm unit out they can match/read the code.

Carl once told me not to always trust the number you have. He would supply new fobs with guaranteed numbers. We Tivs are in the lap of the gods of commerce sometimes!

You can get new fobs done without the card/code. You just have to remove the alarm's 'brain' from under the dash and send it off to Abacus for two new ones at £99.
