What "special" deserts do people make?

have three dinner parties this week and have agreed to make desert for all of them.

Things i often make include:
Chocolate Marquise
Fresh fruit salad
Sabayon/Zabaglione with tuile
Tiramisu

would really like some different ideas for puddings which are decadent and heavenly!

Cheese cake, I make a mean cheese cake. When you see what goes into it, you rarely make one though.

My next one will be a chocolate themed cheesecake, the idea being I crush up/melt a chocolate bar(s) into the vanilla flavor cheese. Im thinking Oreo, KitKat, Boost, Crunchie flavour cheesecake smile

I always thought booze (port) and a selection of cheeses are great desserts...maybe even a spicey jam to mix it up a little...
