Do any of you experience the following:-
You've washed the car, including the wheels or it was raining when you last took her out.
You park her up for a few days
Then when you go to take her out again, she is 'stuck'?
The brakes, or something to do with the wheels has seized up in some way preventing you from pulling away with ease, requiring gentle acceleration (being mindful of the warm up procedure) to set you free
Thanks

Sounds like brake discs rusting and then sticking. Common on large discs in my experience. You've washed the car, including the wheels or it was raining when you last took her out.

Its obvious......wash, rinse.......what comes next? Take it for a SPIN!!!
Yep, I do the same and make sure its far enough to dry the brakes out, 30 miles seems to be about right.TVR's aren't the only cars it happens on though - the worst I had was an Audi where the rear drums seized solid after washing the car and leaving overnight All trying to drive off did was to slip the clutch even when fully released. Had to be taken to a garage, rear wheels in the air, for them to use copious amounts of plus gas and a very large hammer to get the drums off.
