Interior bits and pieces
Discussion
I stripped my griff 500 interior to lighten it and have a pair of black leather seats, black leather door cards with black carpet inserts boot hinges and gas struts and other stuff. My problem is that its all original eg the drivers seat has lumpy padding on the seat, the passenger seat has an inch of stitching repaired in blue thread, the drivers door card has a couple of cigarette burns in the leather and the carpet inserts have cut outs for speakers. Does anyone have any idea if this is worth anything or do I just bin it?
I would say keep all the parts if you have the space. As I have modified my car over the years I have sold or given away a lot of the parts that came off and I realised a while ago that it was a mistake. When eventually the car has to go putting it back to standard would require a lot of parts sourcing and probably be quite expensive. I could sell it in modified form but the Engine, Induction system, ECU, Dampers, Diff etc. Would go for a lot more as bits rather than part of the car, on the car they probably detract from the value, off the car they could be quite desirable.
