We went to look at these when they first came out and we were quite impressed. Went back to look at one today at the local dealer and they offered us a reasonable PX for ours so the deal is on. Just need to go back and put my deposit down.

Anything I need to know? What extras should the car have? I notice there are various cup holder options etc. Also any nice dealer fit options / bits and bobs to add into the deal?

The spec is:
Anthracite Alloys
CHILI Pack
Red stripe cloth
Heated Front Screen
Rain sensor with auto lights
Dimming mirrors
Black roof
Varios trim packs in piano black

Also, the car has 20k on the clock - anything I need to look for thats model specific for wear and tear? Tyres look ok. I expect its had a new set of tyres on the front recently as they looked almost new. Its had 1 service.

TIA!

Thanks will look into that.
Re cable for the ipod... not sure on that one - my wife has an ipod but other than that I dont know!
Cant say I am a fan of apple products so will have to investigate!

The car drove fine, its rattle free for now too!
I did a bit of research and it seems the rattles are the main issues - and the thermostat too - but will have to wait and see on that one.

Collect the car in a couple of days so if anyone else has anything to add feel free!

Well we had the car for a week now. I have driven it a few times and it feels fairly pointy and well put together. No rattles etc on this one.

My only complaint at this exact moment is I am fairy sure its torque limited in 1st and perhaps second. There feels a lot more torque in 3rd. Only snag is because its got quite a long first you are going fairly quick by the time you are in 3rd gear.

Got an Ipod cable via e-bay for £7 - yet to try it.. as I dont really get involved with apple products but I am sure wifey will have a go.

Seems good on fuel too - but our last car did 11mpg...

So, thats it for now.. might update in the spring when we have had more time behind the wheel.

Sounds good we have had ours just over a week too, it's a 1.6D All4, we are pleased so far it rides better than the reviews have you believe and more comfortable and quiet than the Yeti it's replaced, and the MIni Copper S though that was modified so not fair. smile

Any pics?

"overboost" wont kick in in 1st gear so that is what you've noticed.
