Defender 90 Rear Bumpers
Discussion
I have a Defender 90 2.2 puma and the rear bumper is flat apart from the rear tow bar.... I remember the Army Land Rovers having small rear bumpers on on each side..
Do they still do them and if so are they after market? Where is the best place to get them and will they fit on the new version of a 90?

You can fit the military bumperettes to your 90. But make sure they are Defender specific as the older series ones were bigger.Do they still do them and if so are they after market? Where is the best place to get them and will they fit on the new version of a 90?

The rear bumper is actually part of the chassis on the Defender, the rear cross member in fact.Do they still do them and if so are they after market? Where is the best place to get them and will they fit on the new version of a 90?
Lots of parts suppliers do bumperettes - may be worth getting a Land Rover magazine and look at some adverts - or do a Google search. I bought some off a friend who manufactures metal bits and they bolt directly into the 4 holes each side that the little 'grab-handles' were fitted into.
