cafe gusto machines???

right. we've been bought 1 of these funky looking machines for christmas.
tried it earlier. followed the instructions to the letter, (i'm abit anal) and to be honest the coffee does taste rather nice
the problem is, myself and the mrs thinks all drinks thus far are just a degree or two off of hot enough.
is it just us, or have others had the same?
like i say, followed the instructions to the letter, so abit flummoxed.
