What does everyone think....

Right I'm getting the 111R soon and had a bit of a look for plates but couldn't find anything. I'm never over keen on the long modern plates so the question is do I put my plate T11 VER on an Elise. I know it is TVR related but hey I quite like the plate.

Any thoughts.

Stick it on not too obviously TVR IMHO, an illegal T and you've got 111 VER

I guess I have just got it into my head that it belongs on a TVR only, but if its just me then I guess he can do it

It's fine! It actually sits somewhere between the two marques because if it was a proper () TVR plate it would read T1VER and if it was a proper Lotus plate it would read T111VER.

If it was me, then I'd keep hold of the personalised registration and fit it to my new motah. New registrations go out of date in 6 months (it seems to matter to some people) so by hiding the car's age with T11VER it'll always look brand new.
