Great flying or risky flying

Just had a watch of this video on liveleak (despite the annoying music).
My first thought, as someone who has had a few flying lessons and is a lifelong aviation enthusiast, is that it is bloody impressive viewing. Very much reminds me of myself in FSX, after a good few hours of practice, many moons ago.
Then after the video finished, I thought, jesus, coming in landing like that, in a twin engine aircraft, is very risky. Perhaps the perspective is distorted, to make his port wing look lower than it was, but it would have been very easy to misjudge and clip the tarmac.
Impressive flying either way.
What do you lot think?
Anyone here with more than a few hours on twins, that would approach the same way?

That's likely the motivator. Can't understand why he didn't go a bit longer before making the last turn though - I would want to be straight and level before landing...If he is paid per jump he must make a load of cash in a day
I look forward to the day that a flock of wood pigeons, spooked by the plane, fly out of the trees causing a bird strike which causes him to lose concentration and fly the plane into the ground.
There seemed to be no margin for error there, anything unexpected and he'll end up as a statistic...

Not really - it would be a pity to get back safely from an operation only to die in a needless landing accident. And you don't know if your aeroplane has been damaged, which makes it even riskier.davepoth said:

Yikes. I wouldn't mind seeing some footage of that from the ground.
We used to see the Red Devils Isander (GO-RED) doing similar over Farnbrough, it wouldn't often get on the ground before the last of the parachutes was down, but somewhat safer flying than that, sideslipping at crazy speeds on the approach always looked scary enough to me without that kind of wing tip stunt on to the runway.
One of the red devils was in our gliding club, he said the bit he really hated was when the weather wasn't right for a jump and they had to land in the plan when he had a perfectly good parachute on his back

The turn onto final was a bit tight, but fairly predictable and under control. The bit that was riskiest IMO was the turn over the trees, assuming a bit of tailwind there, there'd be some interesting turbulence from the tree tops that whist he's trying to scrub speed could easily have caused him a problem.
Having said that, when young and foolish many of us have done similarly risky things, haven't we?
