Difficult to say, if the cat does not have a pedigree. Somewhere along the line there was a semiloghaired cat involved. I can tell you that much. Chances that it is a purebred are really small. No pedigree means you did not get the cat from a breeder or the previous owner did not get the cat from a breeder. No pedigree normally means the cat is a mix of breeds.

How old is it? His face and the shape of his ears look very much like my cat (A Birman) and they are born all white with their points developing later.

He was totally white when i got him and has the same blue eyes.

Without pedigree papers there's no way to say for sure but it looks quite like an Asian semi longhaired to me. It isn't a Birman, they are always colourpointed and their heads are less cobby than this cat's.

I think it's a mix.

It doesn't look like any 'breed' I know of - also is it deaf?

Completely white cats with two blue eyes have a 60 - 80% chance of being deaf, and I can't believe any responsible breeder would select for that.

Pretty cat though smile
