How on earth do people get car seats this dirty? The stains here on these seats are of epic proportions. I shudder when I think about what must have happened in this car for the upholstery to look like this!

Anyone else have any better pics of dirty seats?

Oh I'll have to take a photo of the Mrs's car seats.

Last time I cleaned them I removed them from the car and took a bucket and sponge to them. I just cannot get my head around how she gets them in that state!

I'm not going to post any photos of my OH's car seats. They're so filthy I'd get banned! wink

Kids will apparently do it but my seats are fine?! My last car had a red wine stain on the back seat where I smashed a bottle though...

My mrs seats look like that.
Amazing what a leaky sunroof
And a coffee habit can do
To the interior.

Anyone got a good method for cleaning car seats? Mine are getting a bit dirty (although not that bad!)

Looks like my OH's car. It's a mobile dustbin.

The Auto Glym car interior shampoo is pretty good stuff - the foam in the aerosol can (not the pupm spray stuff). Its always got marks out of my seats and carpets, not had a mark it has not shifted yet.

If your seats are a good quality leather then you can clean them up using the hot towel trick and gliptone liquid leather. It has the seats like new and I used it on my RS4 a few times.

More info here.
