2007 Cayenne Rear wash-wipe replacement
Discussion
So i'm replacing the whole unit on the rear hatch switch/wiper to tidy things up (and i'm told they changed it too) however, once i've removed the nut holding the wiper arm in place it's not budging as i expected it to.
Is there something else locking the unit onto the rear hatch that i can't see?
Cheers

Unfortunately the wiper arm has a habit of corroding onto the spindle, try soaking the spindle/arm with a penetrant like GT85 or Wurth Rostoff in an attempt to free it. Its not uncommon to damage the arm in the process (being lightweight plastic means the body of the arm is less resilient than the tapered spindle mount that holds it on).
Once it's soaked for a while lift the arm to ninety degrees and apply pressure alternately up and down using the arm as a lever (gently to start with to gauge how much movement you can get)
You can get arm removal tools but TBH the plastic doesn't take kindly to the force they exert ......
