Bumper Scratch and Brake Dust
Discussion
Hi Chaps need some help for an amateur from those in the know.
My 997's front bumper was lightly scuffed when someone was parking. The car has solid paint, is there any simple product I should try first. I have meguires scratch x from a couple years back, however from experience that is only effective on light scratches.
Also what is the best cleaner for stubborn brake dust on alloys.
The car will be detailed in Feb.

Thanks for the information. Annoying as alloys refurbed and front bumper painted only 3 months ago.
Local car wash couldn't get the brake dust off, so will try your suggestions.
Heard many suggestions for bumper t-cut, scratch x, autoglym scratch repair. Ultimately will need to be re-painted.

You take your car to the locals? Daily smoker, yes, but a 911!
Usually only go when I cant see out the window;) Went to the one next to Ace which has a good rep but imo were rubbish.
Getting it detailed next month so lets see what they can do.
