I used a wood chisel with its square shaft in the groove and you can always add some additional leverage
if required

Be careful in case it slips.

I assume you are talking about the swirl pot rather that the expansion tank with the blue cap so above couls be all rubbish!! eek

Try it with a hot engine ! don`t remove it but just tweak it then let the engine cool down ..

Done this a few times ,It must be the expansion helping .

Got it off... so to speak!

It is indeed the tank with the blue lid. I waited for the engine to cool a little and then got two hands on it after giving it a top with a wooded block and a small hammer... just wanted to check the levels!

I have the dreaded leaking PAS pipes... can smell it burning on the exhaust. A job for the new year I think! Still, got her out today at least... awesome.

Cheers everyone smile

A smear of Vaseline will stop the same thing happening again.

Looks bloomin' great! Chims look great in silver. Not sure about the alloys tho....

I too have a leaky PAS system. Can you top up using any old PAS fluid, or can anyone recommend some?

I wasn't sure about them at first, but they look great in the flesh...

Yep. 17's on front and 18's on the back. I wasn't sure about them at first, but think they look pretty good in the flesh. I like the Compomotives, but they don't make them any more.

If you have a nut then somebody changed it from the normal brass screw cap.

I did the same, makes life much easier.
