Most of the engines for those are being bought up by the impreza tuners and being transplanted into scoobys, twin Turbo 1000hp anyone?

so 6000 miles before the gearbox goes pop which it will do

And it is one of the later cars with the body coloured roof which stops it looking like captain scarlets daily driver

Yeah seems a bit much
These were £1000-1500 for years. Nearly bought one so many times. Gearbox issues put me off. I think the most expensive one I ever saw was mint at 3k

but I suppose they are getting rare.
