They've worked beautifully since I got the car in June. Possibly one of the best implementations of auto-wipers I've used, apart from the ludicrous requirement to turn them on first (thus negating the "automatic" part of their name.)

Now, though, they've stopped.

Switching them on no longer causes the wipers to do a sweep across the screen, and they don't respond to water on the screen at all.

Manual wiper operation still works fine, although I don't appear to have an intermittent setting except when the car is stationary and automatically slows the wipers down.

Any ideas?

I think the rain sensor has its own fuse so I would start there.

They deliberately don't auto start - logic is that if the windscreen is obstructed for some reason or you're in an automatic paint scratcher they don't come on and get damaged.

That is so they don't turn on automatically when for example you are under a foot of snow and ice and they would break or you go through a car wash (heaven forbid) and they would turn on.
