Is using foam the only solution?
Thanks

Hi Christian,

Helps down to around 8-10 litres but does not solve lower than that around Oulton Knickerbrook.

Two pumps and a tank redesign (or fit a T350 set up)or a swirl pot is a fix if you can find somewhere for it

Just had the foam solution put in mine, so will see if it helps.... As per Grahams post, probably not advisable to be blasting round a track with less than 8-10 litres in anyway !!

If it doesn't work well enough, I'm gonna ask TrackVRoad to make me a new race-spec tank rather than frig around trying to solve problems with the original one.....

Christian,
Good advice as always from GV.

Single pump with additional tank outlet on the opposite side would help (tee together before swirl-pot). I don't like foam in road cars, it's been known to do funny things over a period of time.

Could try a stiffer rear ARB or just slowing down. smile

Hope you're enjoying the Sagaris, great track tool when tweeked a wee bit and I know your's has been. The fuel surge never bothered the previous owner, he was always a bit steady.. laugh

I've got foam in my noble tank and two feeds with 2 pumps, its much better but best to have your tank internals modified with a fuel collector/swirl pot and or a feed from either side and 2 Bosche 044's.

Pro-alloy can make/modify your tank for you. They seem to be very good at these things.

Thanks for the advice and pointers!
Graham i had already asked Jason what you do as i was happy to follow your lead wink
Must say i'm not keen on the foam in terms of longevity and what happens as it breaks up so think i'll look at Pro alloy [need a bladdered tank for the Tuscan as well] because as we all know the fun is in the corners biggrin
I will be TVR'less as of next week with both the Griff and Sag away being fettled! first time in 7 years i'll have to soley rely on german engineering to get me about without any problems so fingers crossed!!

Motor sport tank baffle foam sliced into bread loaf shape 3 or 4 lumps threaded into the tank through the pump aperture leaving the section by the pump and level sensor without.

It's pretty clear to see once the fuel tanks off

Mines ok still 5 years on in the car, but the piece over left in the sunlight has deteriorated a bit.

Exactly what Ian did to my tank last week - good to know it's worth at least 5 years before faffing around again...

No, trade it in for a T350 with the better design of twin pumps

hehe

Was good to watch your result at Oulton Christian, hope to join in the DTEC circuit fun at some point as my hillclimb runs are a little too brief.

Been there done that as they say, would be great to have a man of your talents come and play in DTEC, what would you run? the grid and the calendar are looking really good with a triple header @ Angelsey where i've watched you sprint!
I have only been to about 6 rounds since watching in the late 90's and only one as a competitor but i could not of found a more friendly paddock and better people to race with!

You're too kind, like many on here I just like sliding the car about and it manages to translate into good times at the xxxth attempt. A triple Anglesey does sound pretty good! Not got funds this year, but if business picks up I'd like to join in next if I could find something quick enough to be entertaining, maybe a shared drive.

Meantime chasing some sprint trophies in my cheap little VX220 to keep my hand in, as the T350 is back to road duty. Have fun smokin
