£1000 to change a hose!!
Discussion
So my CL600 has decided that its time to pixxss me off just before Christmas and has blown one of the hoses controlling the pneumatic suspension.
Result ? 450 for the hose and 500 quid to change it! Apparently engine has to be lifted off its mounts!!
Then of course the pump may have failed due to lack of fluid.....
Joy
But
I love the grin I get from the v12 twin turbo !!

Given that people will make you up hydraulic (I know, not pneumatic, but still) hoses for about 15 quid a metre, 450 quid for an off the shelf one seems a trifle steep. Although not surprising.
What is this special mercedes hose made out of? Must have fittings on the end of it tested by nasa to be that price. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
