Can anyone give me an insight in to the camping atmoshopere at Goodwood Revival? How does it compare to the likes of the Le Mans 24?

In fact, where is a good place for 10 guys to go camping and indulge in some motorsport and beer next summmer?

Some of us are avid motorsport fans, others not so much hence the importance of the atmosphere!

Many thanks,
Ben

Having done Le Mans, Nurburgring 24 and Spa 24 our favourite was the 'ring, haven't been for a couple of years now though and a couple of people are suggesting that it is changing. Hoping to go again next year for a friends 40th.

Spaitalia is also good,we use the Eau Rouge campsite around the corner and Stavelot is half a mile down the road for pubs and restaurents.Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of June this year. We usually book the camping for the Friday till monday. As alot of us are sorting out our cars after being on track etc.

Yep, Camping F1 are very good. I went with a bunch of lads 2 years ago to Spa for the F1, was a very merry weekend and saw lots of action and alot of the track as well. Do it!

Very helpful thanks, going to look into the Ring 24hour and failing that we'll be off to Le Mans as it was magnificent first time around.

Could always consider a round of the Berg Cup which is a hillclimb / sprint with a lot of retro cars.... Still on my list to do. Luxembourg round at Eschdorf appears to be nearest but not much in way of nightlife, as it looks like its in the sticks....

Le Mans
Best motorsport event I have been to as a whole package, as you get time to enjoy it as it goes on for so long. The Great British Welcome on the Friday (Car Show). Going out to see cars at Arnage corner in the evening or night, just amazing to be that close.

Spa F1
Great track you have to go, We stayed in a local campsite not at the circuit. Was mainly Europeans and they like there 80's Rock and there is no bed time..

Im 90% sure im off to the Ring 24 this year for the first time, looking forward to it alot and its not expensive compared to so many other events like F1.

If you know your sportscar racing and money is a factor then I would def choose Le Mans or Ring over F1.

whatever you see, have a great time
