Fuel pump relay

Took the chim out for a quick engine turn over last night and obviously met up with the chaps from the AA !!... basically just died as if no fuel getting thru. When key turned I couldn't hear the fuel pump so assume it might be the shonky relay? ... anyone know when they are located in the car?

thanks for your advise - thought I'd try the relay before splashing out on a new pump.

They are in the passenger footwell in the loose loom above the battery.

Have you checked the wire connections on the fuel pump itself. They can work loose and get mucked up giving a poor contact.

nice one thanks - that's ware i chucked the new relay to stop that damn hot start mare - I'll have a look over the weekend cheers
