DBS springs on a DB9 and a massive thanks again to BR!

Off the back of my second service from BR - great as always, flexibility due me being ill and lifts to the station notwithstanding - I had a chat with Mike regarding suspension upgrades to my DB9.
The main reason for this being catching the odd speed bump (of which there's many where I live) and despite the slowly slowly approach always catching multi-storey car park ramps with that accompanying expensive sounding and wince inducing crunch! He said that most 9's that he sees have badly scuffed valances, so not just me then.
I really wanted the BR switchable suspension system to stiffen everything up but as fabulous as it undoubtedly is it's too expensive for me so I asked about other options, one is the H&R kit but that lowers the car so is out of the question. Mike then had an idea to upgrade to DBS springs that would stiffen the ride a touch and raise the ride height by about 5mm, deal done and while my car was in for it's service it had the springs fitted.
I have to say the results are fantastic... the ride is a little firmer but still has the comfy GT damping ie the wife hasn't noticed... Turn in and direction change are markedly improved, the 5mm ride height change is unnoticeable in terms of appearance and stance and I now have an unbeatable ability to get safely over the aforementioned speed bumps and get out of multi-storey carparks without swearing!!
A cost effective upgrade by all accounts which has put a great big smile on my face so a m assive thank you to Bamford Rose

Sorry, bit slow replying, probably best ring them for a price as I think the springs fitted to my car were a set they used to develop their switchable damper kit so I got a deal on them... 3 hours to fit comes in at £240+vat though.
The more I drive the car the more impressed I am, no loss in comfort, big gain in handling, turn in, flatter cornering etc, brilliant!

Great idea for a handling improvement... I didn't know that DB9 and DBS springs were different!
Although I wonder if DB9 Sports pack and DBS springs are the same thing..? The steering rack was!
Agree with the lowering as well, my front valance would touch speed bumps quite often in Laandaan. BR's adjustable dampers cured that.

So the DBS actually rides higher off the ground than the DB9? Does sound a little strange.FF
