Wow, the whole thread has been deleted. Sort of proves the point, eh?

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

The thread was begun by a poster questioning the removal of an image he posted. There were a few mentions of heavy-handed modding in the thread, and now the whole thread has been removed.

My view (for what it's worth):

Topics should NEVER be removed, unless they are offensive or illegal.

Removing topics because they criticise the mods is a very dangerous habit to get into and justifies the critics.

Don't you moderate your own forum at all?

Of course you are welcome to your opinion, BUT if you don't own the website then you don't have a say in how it's run that's in MHO. smile

Really? The users of a forum should not have any ability to criticise or make suggestions about the administration of a site they're using, even when many of those users predate the sale of the site to the current owners? I suppose it's a point of view...

Grow up and move on.

An image has been removed. Big deal.

The PH posting rules and Ts & Cs are quite clear.

Lifes too short .... or way too short if you're an ancient Mayan.

And the policies nor moderation have changed from Teds time. "Grass was greener" and all that rubbish rolleyes

Can't believe people getting wound up/irate by all this rubbish hehe
