Yup, me.

Dads competing in it - GOOOOOO TVR!! hehe. tbh its a slow 1/4 mile so you cant get the thing off the line with any reasonable power/ average tyres so hes not expecting much - just want to beat last years time/speed. Will be standing around the Blue TVR Cerbera 4.5 all day so come and say hi (im a skinny 18year old scruffy git)

You are going to have to get there early to find parking anywhere nearby!
Watch out for Brightons Parking Parasites - Park legally they put 'gone in 60 seconds' to shame - turn your back and they will tow it

A load of us from SE London and Kent are coming down en-masse, probably end up parking in Worthing and knocking their pier too

Best place to park is the marina, it's free and an £2 cab ride or 20 minute walk along the seafront to the speed trials

Or you can do what I did the first year I went, park in the NCP, still a 20 minute walk to the speed trials and get stung for £15 parking

I'm told a cunning plan has been hatched thankfully, so we're all sorted thankfully

Clapham Junction to Brighton is 45 minutes (on a good day) no parking problems, a small walk and you can drink beer

I will put the PistonHeads flag on my bag so if you see me say HI....or avoid me like the plague its you call

Does anyone have a map for exactly where it's going to be or is it fairly well signposted?

Anyone in Kent meeting along the way for a convoy? If so where and when?

Follow the signs for the Marina, where you can park for free, then follow your nose.
(Petrol fumes and burning rubber!)

My car

My new Nemesis...a modded X1/9 (I beat him...just!)

F40 and F50

Would you believe this old thing was 2 seconds quicker than the F50!

Can't see anything I'm afraid...I just get a message saying "This page is temporarily unavailable or restricted."

I had to "Get a Link" to each picture, and put them in my post to get it to work.

Hey Danhay, nice too meet you! Glad your car got soem decent times...

A little annoyed that dad couldnt get the cerbera to launch effectively - first run was too few revs, the car bogged down -then took off (13.57/ 109mph terminal) then the second run was more of a disaster still!! car stalled (why??) then dad hastily dialed in a few too many revs but didnt back off. So it did the first 100meters or so spinning its wheels against the limiter in first gear. He then flicked it into second but of course the car wasnt going that quick (wheels were, car wasnt) - so it wasnt "in the zone" so to speak - 14.15/ 101mph...

annoyingly the Tuscan managed a decent launch (congrats, was very nice indeed) and beat the 1/4 mile time by 0.2seconds or something - but the speed was only 104... So Tuscans are more tractable (or the drivers better at launching a TVR than dad - likely) but the Cerbs king when it comes to pace.

Nice weekend, just got back from the smartclub trackday... but thats another topic

Next year, proper start, decent run. Or else lol
