Brake Lights, reverse and fog lights stopped working yesterday evening.
Got home looked at the fuses all fine, all bulbs fine, indicators on the same fuse still working?
Basically pulled all the joints to the cables apart and put them back together again from the boot, fuse box and the ones behind the back seats.
All now work except the fog light.
I had a devil of a time following the wires through due to the colour continuity and the various circuits.
Has anyone else had this problem? As I pulled everything apart and put it back and then all the important bits worked I'm not clear as to where the actual fault was? Trouble is you don't know when your brake lights fail, a very nice man in a Roller took time out to tell me in a traffic que, wondered why the golf nearly ran in to the back of me at the previous junction!
