Lotus V8 & Noble M12 GTO-3R
Discussion
Can someone who has owned or currently owns an Esprit V8 and Noble M12 please share your thoughts on comparing each car in regards to the following:
1) Daily Driving
2) Sitting in traffic on very HOT days
3) Service intervals
4) Which one is easier to repair at home...
5) LONG distance journeys on the road
6) "Special" tools to help work on the car
7) Storage room
8) Easier to modify
9) Easier to repair body damage
I know this is a lot to ask, but if someone could shed some thought on this, I would truly appreciate your time. THANK YOU!!
BTW- I've read through old threads and even old posts of mine. I was hoping to hear from those who have owned both in order to get the specific info I need. This data would solidify my decision on the purchase of a Noble. I've owned a 2000V8 Esprit for a bit over 2 years and understand the car well.

I owned a Esprit V8 for four years changing to a Noble last year, i find as follows ,
Daily driving & traffic better in the Esprit.
Service intervals the same.
Noble better for repair and far less trouble than the Esprit, also so much better support from Noble to Owners.
Long distance journeys probably better in the Esprit, however not as satisfing to drive as the Noble.
No real special tools required for normal maintance.
Esprit far better for storage room, Noble only has room behind the seats.
Noble better to modify/develop, Esprit a very old design.
Hope not to find out about body damage but the Noble would far easier.
The Noble is a more rewarding car to drive and so much faster on a track however probably not as fast in terms of top speed.
The two cars are very different really, the Noble is exactly the type of car l wanted and l wouldn't change back.
Hope this helps.
