Help Required What Car is This From?

I have no idea what car this rad is from and would be grateful if someone could ID it.

It measures 20" long, 9" tall and 3.25" deep.

Seems small for a car rad, some sort of heater matrix or AC maybe?

Fittings and core are all wrong for an oil cooler.

Looks like the type of rad used for a front-radiator conversion on an Imp.

It is a water rad. My guess is that is is from a sports car because it is not tall and would suit a low frontal area car. It also has the hall marks of being British. It must have connected to a header unit/filling point. I picked it up as part of a job lot of racing car parts in the 90's. I have been sorting stuff from my garage to put on eBay but the origin of this one has got me stumped. My best guess is a 1960's/70's British sports car.

I used to work in the radiator business and it looks like it been made to purpose. Very simple shape, the top rail looks like brass folded and top and bottom tanks look like very simple shape. Also it would be using a remote filler or expansion tank?

Also the tube construction is gill on tube which is more modern than you would find on an original classic.

It looks like it bolts might go at the top and it sits in a rail.

Also where you can see the brass on the pipes where it has been masked off when sparyed is the way rad repair companies "dress" the pipes

Given the thickness I suspect it has been made like that due to limited space so have probably used 3 or 4 row

is it in good condition (no leaks)? if so, I might be interested for my clubmans car

Audi fitted similar additional auxiliary radiators to quite a few of their turbocharged five cylinder engined cars as the main rad wasn't ideally located alongside the engine. But looking at it, whilst similar, I don't think it is an Audi one.

Those were mostly ali rads with plastic tanks

Thanks for the various comments. I did buy a G15 in the 90's, there was another style of rad with it but it came with a bundle of bits and it could be that this rad came from that bundle. I also have a swirl pot/header tank that might well be it's mate. Mystery solved!
