The penultimate in super car development of its era
What the hell does that mean? It was the second worst super car made at the time?

the bit ;jsessionid=9733734F56C8DCD7807BB11D1D095FC9 means it is likely to expire (and possibly session hijack issues)

the bit ?ru=htt ... looks like a referrer url

It's the Fiesta air vents and the Ford Mirror switch that put me off!

And let's be honest, you're not going to get too many bodies in that boot

Really? you'd let such a minor point spoil your enjoyment of one of the most iconic cars ever? I think on this car the money went in the right place.

No idea what kind of person has/had this much cash to spend on a speculative purchase 18yrs ago! Can't see a good investment there..

I think you've missunderstood me, I don't entertain the idea of a car for investment, I meant that the money spent developing this car went on the important bits not airvents, I also meant by iconic that its just a great car from an era when we weren't doing a lot right.

Is that really what mint XJ220's are commanding these days?

ISTR not so long ago - 2 years maybe - that a mint RHD example would fetch about £120k max?

I remember all of the years that there were a few of them sitting side by side in the jag dealer in Brentwood, I would always stop and have a nose through the window late at night.
