Hi guys,

After a month long search for the right car I bought this today:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

I have to say Red wasn't my initial colour choice but it looks great in the metal on a 130. I liked the slightly different interior and the car drove like a dream and felt even tighter than my first car which had a few less miles.

Really chuffed!

Looks a good craic, I should have bought one of these over an FST.

Looks nice. I don't know the prices on these, but it seems a good buy at under £10k.

Thanks mate.

I think so too and bear in mind I didn't pay anywhere near asking!

Looks nice, enough growl and a different colour to every other 1 on the road all for less than 10k. Nice!

I've always liked these, they remind me of early M cars. With respect red's not for me, but a great car nonetheless biggrin

Thanks mate! I was iffy on the Red as well until I saw it in the flesh with the Msport spec and polished chrome exhausts coming out the back!

My cars are both green and I'm (genuinely) colourblind so ignore me!

I've always promised myself a 130i, maybe one day.

Dead right. Wet day, fast approach and it was goodnight. Only the once though.

Nice car you have there. A 130i will be my next car - currently on the lookout. I quite fancy an SE for maximum 'Q' factor and better ride - there's not many around though. I think only about 100 were sold, so they weren't available after 2006.

Not bad. I had a 116i Sport when they first came out and thought that it was a great car. Had a RR as my weekend car, so didn't need a larger engine.

Unfortunately, I'm a fat-arse now, so the 1 series is a little too tight for me.
