Just wondering if a car with say the same power to weight as the other GT3 racers, however was significantly lighter, say 800kg and 320bhp (which is the same as R8 LMS according to ROC website data)?

Im only asking due to the Maserati Granturismo trofeo 2012, getting under 1300kg, and the v8 now close to 500bhp, it seemed odd they havnt done a Gentleman racer customer car, as the BHP/weight seems spot on, and Im sure the aero wouldnt be too hard to get done as I think the wing sizes are all the same for each car (I think...).

Help fellow motorsport nerds...

Maserati don't want to compete against Ferrari, the MC12 was never in competition with the fezzas.
