Whilst waiting in a queue at a multi storey car park (i was there to park, not see how loud the echo would be ...honest) I heard a lad whithin a group say
"bloody 'ell, only a car like that can get away with that sort of noise". Cool eh?

Group of blokes at an outside table as Harry left the Berks meet on Tuesday ;

"Now that's what a TVR should sound like" - Note Harry had left after a Tamora and a Tuscan

20 mins later when I left ;

"That one sounds even better" - aahh Cat free and noisy

Simple...

If you like the music, you play it louder!

By the way,when are you going to pop down to sunny Upminster. I guess you are having your exhaust built by Hayward & Scott?

Nick,
Hopefully I will have my S3 soon so there will be one in Brentwood as well as Upminster,terrorising the locals.
Should have picked it up on the 31st May but half an hour before I got there the guy crashed it ,it needed a whole new bonnet but there was no other damage,anyway as I really liked the car and it was in really good nick with full TVRSH from new I told him to get it repaired and I would still have it,apparently it is in Mole Valley at the moment.I will let you know when it arrives in Brentwood.

My new exhaust for the S2 should be about 10dB louder then the current one which was always touch and go at 105dB track days! Since the car won't be used 'on track' any more, who gives a damn?
Wife and Parents just shake their collective heads and tell me to grow up!
They just don't get it do they?

I might have to get a noisier exhaust. Despite all my resolve the spending bug has started, I've ordered a roll bar and started looking at improving the suspension, and then I need a better stereo (only cheap as I can't hear it anyway) and then ...........

What do you think the parcel shelf was designed for...parcels?? It was designed to fit a wacking great sub woofer the size of Bristol. Even then you'd need a doctors stethascope (??) attached from it direct to your ear drums to hear anything!!

I do recall there was a Cerbie that left before as well, a different V8 noise

Took a friend out tonight for a blat and a shandy, chatting on the way in the 30/40 limits about how civilised it all was, hit the NSL and opened her up to stretched it's legs, last thing I remember was 'Jeeeeesus' and him trying to find the brakes on his side when approaching the corners I'll convert him yet to S ownership
