Haven't played with an RC car for sometime, so had an itch to scratch. I have had this TT01 kit sat around a while at work, so this afternoon I thought I'd have a quiet one and chuck her together. I also grabbed a bearing kit and a super stock motor to make it a bit more interesting.
4-5hours later here she is. Whilst a TT01 is never going to set the world alight it really is a fantastic little kit, it certainly goes nicely with the super stock motor.
To make things a little more interesting I have not installed the drive shaft for now, so running RWD only - had a quick go outside in the drizzle and its a complete handful. It was understeery and a bit boring running 4wd.
Will give the body shell a spray when I get 5mins.

Don't think it's been looked at for around 10 years.. Might go dig it out

These are fantastic kits, I had one as my first car and it was very reliable, it won me a few championships, too. My Dad and I currently use Tamiya M0-5s indoor on carpet and they provide a lot of fun and close racing. We have tried M0-3s and M0-6s too, but both went for the '5.
Sorry OP, I went a little of topic there.
