People think my 1989 MX5 is a classic......I don't!
Classics to Me have chrome bumpers and grilles etc IMO!
So there will never be any more classic cars based on that, it doesn't have to be some twee British sports car of the fifties to be a classic, classics don't have to have been special when new, I prefer left field old cars as less get saved, there are more mgb's around than there are accords like this as nobody actively thought to save them due to them being mundane, it survived through lack of use and being fairly robust. Would rather see a field full of variety at a car show, stuff you never see any more that a field full of pampered old clichés that have paint better than they had new and thirty grand sunk into them.Classics to Me have chrome bumpers and grilles etc IMO!
taken directly from wikipedia, we all know how accurate that is:
A classic car is an older car; the exact definition varies around the world. The Classic Car Club of America maintains that a car must be between 20 and 40 years old to be a classic, while cars 45 years and older fall into the Antique Class. In the UK 'classic cars' range from Veteran (pre first world war), Vintage (1919–1930), Post-Vintage (1930s). Post second world war cars are not so designated.

In this example, classic = so old people have forgotten how crap it really was!
Why was it crap ? Would have been a perfectly decent saloon back then, granted it doesn't get the pulse racing but I suspect it did its job, probably an old boys last wheels judging by the mileage and auto box, I expect it would still be reliable, Honda have always made a quality product, this is from the same era as the NSX !Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
