Knife set bargains
Discussion
No suggestions for you fella, but we tend to buy knives individually, based on what each of us needs/wants.
If you have 'some knives' already, and them matching cosmetically is of no consequence, you can experiment with knives from different collections until you've accumulated your ideal tried and tested set.

Really? Thats suprising, Nisbets are normally pretty good with their stuff. Did they go in the dishwasher?

I'll be getting some victorinox ones soon. After seeing the price of both the Global and Wusthoff bread knives, both priced like Mclaren v Ferrari, I decided to get the Tsuki knife from Nisbetts.
It's very sharp and doing the job well so far. Quality seems fine, the weight is half way between the Wusthoff and Global.
I'd be interested to know how the 8 inch chefs knife stacks up

Has a better curvature on the blade than a Global, perhaps this is the Nissan GTR of the knife world?
Anyone fancy risking buying it? It is only £50 rather than £75 for the big brands
