I use dbPoweramp myself but there's some guides here for other solutions.

I looked at the other options but decided dbpoweramp was the best combination of features and benefits.

EAC is favoured by many, I use Foobar, quick and easy.

EAC here too, works well even if the CD is not in good condition, although a bit slow when it is.

Suggest using AutoFlac with EAC, AutoFlac provides a useful easy to use front end for EAC, much easier to sort out naming conventions.

If you struggle with a copy protected CD in EAC put the ripping into Burst mode, has always managed to rip for me then. Burst mode dosn't do all the fancy error checking though, so only use it as and when required.
