Wow... Cheap, but at what cost?

To use, not polish, would it be wallet suicide?

Chances are because it's been used massively it's been maintained hugely as well unlike some garage queens that have done 12k miles and the owners still want 45k. You pays your money........

I searched but can't find. Anyone give me a clue to sniff at?

Thanks. Seems its been well looked after, no horror stories.

I expect it will be snapped up.

Lots of motorway miles, hence the mileage.

Probably wont even need an engine refresh yet. How many cars that can match the performance of this car on and off the track would still be running well at this mileage? May even be interested myself

Truly incredible cars.

Is that a small profit if it goes for 25750?

It's an interesting one this. What's it worth?

I guess it depends on the wear and tear of the whole car, not just the engine. How is the interior, the suspension and its million arms, bushes, mountings, roll bars, etc etc.

You could easily throw 5k at it doing a refresh. Then it wouldn't look quite so smart.

Or maybe it's had a fortune spent on it and its a bargain?

Worth a proper look though.

I'm struggling to grasp the possible negatives that could emerge from that positive transaction...?

I think it looks a cracking car. You would have to not only go in with your eyes open, but also the fact that it will be a keeper with no takers for selling it on maybe once the mileage tops 200K ?

Looking forward to how this thread progresses though.

like it, but how has this gone up in value, with extra 5k + 18 months plus now a private sale??

Very true , regardless of how well maintained it is , compared to the prices of current cars with much less mileage ( no telling their true condition of course ) it is expensive I think. I maintain that this will be a "dead" sale this time. Whoever buys it will be stuck with it. 25K's worth , not sure.

Why should this car be cheaper than what he paid for it 18 months ago?? At the end of the day its the cheapest entry into GT3 ownership that you can get and by all accounts is in good condition. 996 GT3 prices are only going to go one way soon - especially Mk1's smile

Seems like a genuine bargain to me
