After many happy years driving cars , of which there have been many, always looking forward to the next one, i have finally become a little bored !
although i will never tire of driving , i have just seemed to lose my way a little this year .
a couple of reasons for this loss come to mind,
the first one to take the blame, comes in the form of a little 3 wheeler from Morgan , i implore you to go and try one, every sinew in your body becomes involved in the experience from the moment you press the start button. it is awesome.
the second reason to take the blame relates to reason one, because of that motorcycle engined little 3 wheeler i have had the urge to get back onto two wheels, something which i havn't felt the need to do for a few too many years.
So i find myself in the closing months of 2012 taking my CBT, passing my theory test surrounded by spotty teens , and now waiting to take my DAS course.
i will still run my car, but for the first time in many years i am not looking for the next one, not scanning the classifieds to find a bargain or a dream car ...my mojo has left the building...
sorry guys

I have just done my CBT and will be doing my DAS soon. One good thing being 30 I guess.

I'm thinking along the enduro route though, road bikes don't really have any appeal. That as then I can also justify a Defender, plus can think of what car to get next.

Good for you, while you're at it book a ferry to see the TT. You will have a surplus of mojo by the end.

I think all true petrolheads should at least do their CBT to get a feel for bikes and offer an a decent, fun alternative. If the CBT was compulsory for everyone, I suspect we'd see less cars vs bikes threads.

By pure coincidence I have a 996 which I was going to sell in the spring but could be pusuaded to part with earlier..

Cant beat a big twin, easy to ride and normally a good size as well!

Cycling is now my main pass time and I've lost some interest in cars.

I used to wash and polish both cars regularly but now, I'd rather dress up in Lycra and explore the roads of Cheshire!
