Been already - wife gave me a TVR hat and scarf for Christmas, it would have been rude not to test them

We went for it on Sunday, day before Christmas Eve and 60 miles with the roof down, fantastic. Thank God I don't sorn her. After Kate growled her way through the gridlock of Asda car park it was off on a tour of very wet and muddy A and B roads including driving through a flood which came up to the bottom of the doors. Great fun and she never missed a beat, if only everything in life was as reliable as a TVR smile

I love the reaction to my old girl grumbling through the little town where my folk live...

...it couldn't have more "shock and awe" if I had the word C*NT written across it in big neon lights. smile

Oh little town of Rotherham Epworth
How still we see thee lie
Until some dick in TVR
Comes slowly rumbling by

For it is here that everyone
For 't environment cares
And then young Phil in't bloody V8
Turns up at 't foot of our stairs

It will be when its all working properly. Looks nice though! Chassis sorted, roll bar and new headlights, just got to get new carpets, dash and hood in the new year.

Then the quest for power will begin ......

I was admiring that headlight conversion on your profile the other day. Did you do it yourself?
Any tips?

The conversion is the same as the standard lights fitted to the later chims, there are 2 companies that do it (maybe more). It involves cutting and fitting a pod so not something I would do myself. They look nice but I've not yet had the chance to set them up so cant say how good they are yet.

Waiting for a dry day so I can get the front wheels off and get to the adjusters and the wiring.
