Hard-Drive, Draycote Water, Foiling Moth, almost certainly DFL as I can't gybe it properly yet let alone foil gybe. Still, I'll be wearing a Santa hat so I look like a proper tool too...

Not sure what boxing day bottles means, but I'll be up at Draycote in my 300. Not sure how I'll fare as I tried racing on Sunday and only managed 45 minutes!

Draycote for me too... in the largely pointless exercise of taking a Solo out in a Pursuit Race...

Hi Jon. Well it wasn't the best was it? Dodgy windshift and general lack of wind didn't help. I still managed to fall in on the run from OL to F which no doubt gave the fireballs around me a good laugh.

Hard-Drive (Iain) beat us all (though not sure his result should count as he switched to a different craft from his wide and varied fleet once he saw the conditions/course on offer).

Woohoo!!!!! woohoo

Yep, cheated a little bit by swapping to the 49er on the basis that it looked a bit light for lard to foil properly in the Moth, and managed an 8th overall, despite having sailed with the crew only once before, and managing to miss the wire and fall out the boat on one of the marks! banghead

Muwhaawhaahaa the Inaugural Pistonheads Pursuit trophy is mine mine all mine! loser

I very nearly caught you Jon, Chris went past me on the T to B leg and then Ian went past on the 2nd time round M.

(I agree with Chris on the PH league tables about only being valid for boat pre-entered, so Ian DSQ)

Yep, sorry Iain, I have to go with the others... no changing boats after your declared entry!
All in all, not a bad sail- nice to get out on the after after the eat-athon yesterday.

Chris wins...

Good course (for a change), good wind, water a tad cold but nice to get out, shame it dropped off toward the end of the race but think I was about 6th/7th overall so fairly pleased with that. First sitty out singlehander I think. Yey.

Fireball won again - well there's a surprise!

Yes you had me, I had a crap day..... Started late, hit several marks, went for a swim..... Think I got 3rd of the Lasers, if i'd had another couple of minutes or the darts didn't sail back down the line once they'd finished I would have had 2nd.
