Best thread for receiving critique

Hey folks, What is the best thread to post pictures in, to receive constructive critique and comments? I'm not looking for back patting - I am genuinely interested in finding areas where I can improve my technique and 'up my game'.

I can see a few 'random photos' threads but none specifically for critique... does such a thread exist?

I like it. You have a good eye for interesting photo opportunities.

Few things:
- get yourself familiar with content aware fill in Photoshop, it's a brilliant tool for removing unwanted, distracting details in photos (that thing above the underground sign, little sth on the black railing in the B&W photo, tidying up the sky in Eiffel tower shot etc...)
- shots like the skaters would be even better with some off-camera flash, maybe something to experiment with?

That weird sky photo you posted up on another thread is probably the least good of whats on your Flickr, I was surprised to see it in amongst the rest of them (red colour pop skyline photo aside)

Nice work, looks like you've had fun getting some of those too

Completely agree with Andy.

I think you have a real eye for photography though. The first 2 in your portfolio, the beach huts and the shadows are particularly good. The only criticisms of them I can think anyone would offer are compositional points about rules of thirds and things, but I don't think its much of an issue really.

Thanks chaps - useful feedback and much appreciated. I do tend to over process pictures, hence the countryside one I think I got a tad carried away!
