ERROR 417 - expectation failed

Get this if I've typed a fairly long response in forums on my phone - Galaxy S2.

I'm at the point of not bothering now had this a few times on various PH forums I can't begin to tell you how infuriating it is.

I get this repeatedly on my iPhone as well.

Best way I have found to deal with it is to copy and paste the reply I have just spent ages typing - but without any quote. Then go back to the thread and click post reply again and then paste my written reply - without anything I am quoting. And then it seems to work.

Given the faff, I have several times just given up on the post altogether.

I copy it, go to the full site and then paste and reply.

This for me most of the time.
I used to cut and paste and generally fook about but my patience is wearing thin now and I generally just fk it off I really can't be arsed.

it got better, but today it has happened about 10 times from my mobile.
