...but as has already been pointed out previously, he has "worked" for them in the past on their stand at automotive shows.

Remember that he makes his money off his name ... if your car is working right then there should be no need for this and, as has already been said elsewhere, you *CANNOT* mix this stuff with water at all so should you have a leak on a run then unless you have a bottle of it in the back of the car then you're a bit buggered.

Ah that explains the great benefits he described of using it over a standard water/Coolent mix, it was a sales pitch!

No harm in maintaining a revenue stream if it's not going to bite you in the ass ... and no "worse" than Tiff Needel doing infomercials for that spray-on cleaning solution that supposedly cleans and protects your car without needing water. biggrin

Does it protect the Rv8 ally engine against steel/ally corrosion? 50% Glycol does. Read somewhere, if mixed with glycol it does not work so well. Needs to be checked out on these pros and cons.

Yes it does , it one of the reasons I swapped to it as everything in my system was in a ste state, erm you don't mix it with anything

Looks good stuff, although would be concerned at any secondary damage caused (seals/gaskets/warping etc) if the engine did run really hot for a length of time IMHO.
Just use a std coolant & make sure the entire cooling system is in good condition ( for the price of this stuff you could replace all the hoses & std coolant anyway?). Also as a previous post mentioned, you must top up with like for like otherwise you must flush & refill the system.

One of the main advantages is it has a very high boiling point so you do not get localised boiling of the coolant when you switch the car off on a very hot day or on a track day, it means that you have cooling effect everywhere you should have all the time.
