I have my car up for sale on pistonheads and ebay for £11,000.
someone has then used my ad and pictures to advertise my car on a free ads site with price of £5000.
so an email was sent to the fake ad asking if the car is for still foresale, and this was the reply:

Hi there,
The car is still for sale. It's in excellent condition, the bodywork is immaculate,no scratches, dents or hidden defects, also the interior is in excellent non-smoking condition, never been involved in any accidents. HPI clear, full service history, MOT and tax till 06.13.
I am from Glouchester, but I was deployed last week in Dhekalia, Cyprus and I think I'll stay here for a while that's why I'm selling it so cheap. I want to find a good home for it, not to forget it in the garage, so this car could be yours.
Being in the Military, I don't have access to a phone for personal business, so we'll talk through e-mails.I will try to reply as soon as I can.
I will use Paypal to sell this car safely since I'm not able to make the sale in person, so I'll propose you a fair deal. We'll use protection from Paypal for both of us at the same time. Let me know if you are ready to buy this car and I will give you more info.
Cheers,
Ben

I will call the the free ads site asking them to remove the ad,
but who else do i report this to?????

Thanks

Wouldn't worry about it.

Anyone who reads that reply and can't see it's a scam deserves to loses their money.

Try and arrange a viewing. Sometimes the guy will agree to "a mate" showing you the car but then the keys to the garage will be unavailable. Would be fun to turn up to that in the car that's for sale...

Laughable. Suddenly, being in the military deprives you of the most basic right to a telephone. Utter, utter bks.

Send him a photo of your car and tell him you've kidnapped it and will destroy it unless he pays a ransom.
