Dim headlamps on dip beam....

04 Celica, main beam is fine, but I swear dip beam is dimmer than it used to be. Both headlights appear to be working fine and glass is cleanish.

Feels almost like driving on sidelights in some dark areas.

Google doesnt reveal any sort of known fault either.

check the wiring , the connections should be in good order and clean so clean any earths up

Checked a mx5 recently and the plug had partially melted on the bulb , the main beam was fine but dipped was very dim
