987 Driver's window leak
Discussion
Can anyone offer any advice/cure for a widow leak?
It's only recently started and has got worse with the latest heavy rain.
It is leaking from the top, just a little forward from the hood frame hinge/join.
The hood is sealing OK to the screen.
It seems like the water is running off of the hood and finding a way down between where the window seals under the lip.
Is this a common fault? And has anyone cured it?
Thanks

If its operating properly and first check all else is ok before you start to adjust things (seals etc)... it can be adjusted very slightly from underneath to adjust the front and rear of the window.
Lower the window to its bottom fully and take out the grommets underneath, you will then see a small screw(5mm or 5.5mm socket if I remember correctly) these adjust the window stops when window is fully up. Count the numbers of turns you do on each one so you can return it to the original position in case you are adjusting it the wrong way(only small adjustments can be done this way)
The other way is more in depth and requires removing door panel, marking window position then slacken window fixing clamps and moving the window position on its clamps
As originally noted though make sure all is operating correctly and seals etc ok,you can compare this against the other side window
