As a former super geek, I was reasonably handy at Quake 1/2/3. Recently built a gaming PC but couldnt get away with modern FPS - none of them had the 'feel' that Quake did, the feeling that you were absolutely in control - and the level of accuracy you had to summon to win games.

I don't get all this dpi and mouse accel.
