Spotted my first one yesterday, have to say the spec made it really disappointing to look at.bog standard wheels ,in black and with I think it was 'Porsche 911 Carrera 4s ' plastered on the back which made it look really tacky tbh.
For anyone buying one of these please do yourself a favour and do not buy black ,it just hides all the lines and makes the car really dull to look at.

I was told in my local OPC it was done to satisfy the China market so they understood what Porsche brand is!!!
so why letter up the european spec cars then ? we are hardly going to mistake it for a 'kin KIA are we - looks crap imho.I picked up a 4S today , in Basalt black , with the classic S wheel , red callipers and red rear light strip it looks fantastic , I couldn't give two f
kes what's written on the back , if that's the only fault I am in for an enjoyable ownership , I've only done 30 miles but gelled with the car instantly

Spotted a white 4S a couple of days ago.
Mixed views, I was sure it was a 981 as it approached head-on, which I guess would disappoint me if I had one, but as it passed the rear light band (?) looked super against the white and really helped show the width.
8/10
To me 2S always looked like boxster from front whole point of 4SMixed views, I was sure it was a 981 as it approached head-on, which I guess would disappoint me if I had one, but as it passed the rear light band (?) looked super against the white and really helped show the width.

It is very unnecessary to put all this explanatory lettering on, is there really anyone in the world who would look at that and say "ooh, a Porsche 911, I've always wondered what they look like".Edited by General Bilko on Saturday 29th December 09:54
Give me a 996 c4s all day with sports exhaust
The 991's need all the letters on the back so people know what car it is.
There's not much difference between the 2s and 4s my friends got a 2s but i just not feeling it , sounds good but that's it there is Something missing .
To those who have them enjoy, they are capable cars indeed though
But
After the 997 Gt3 and now cayman R really don't know what to get when I finally sell the R may have to be ol skool 964 or even 996 c4s they have character .
Maybe the 991 turbo or Gt3 well restore the passion again without so many letters on the back and with a rear stance to die for.
