This telescope any good?

Looking to get a telescope and wondered whether anyone have any views on the

Skywatcher EXPLORER-130
130mm (5.1”) f/900 Newtonian Reflector


I found this in shop near me for £169 and of course cheaper online, but wondered whether for similiar amount of money is there anything better?

Any views would be appreciated.

To answer that properly would need some information about what you intend to use it for - looking at deep space objects like nebula, planet watching or just looking at the moon. Perhaps you want to attach a camera to it as you have posted in the photography forum.

Basically the moon and planets to start off with as a beginners one. Taking photos would be afterwards and then I would seek advice on the camera side/connecting it to my laptop etc.

Have fun, I have a similar sized 'scope and you should be able to see quite a lot.
